Housed in the boiler room of the Wapping Hydraulic Power Station this installation is one in a series of three projects celebrating the Japanese Designer Yohji Yamamoto in London. By stepping into the room I entered a confined space isolated from external noise. In sight were three things: the wedding dress in bamboo crinoline from Yamamoto's A/W 1998 collection, its reflection in the water and a rowing boat which could take you closer to the piece. Together with the faint sound of slow instrumental music and the seemingly bottomless water it created a timeless atmosphere, reflecting the thought of what matters is now.
